Brass Settings from original vintage molds

These vintage cabochons look like carved jade, just as they were intended to. Vintage glass gem stones were the original "look for less." Then (and now) most people could not afford real carved jade or gem stones. The glass industries of Austria, Czechoslovakia (as it was) and Japan provided "gems" like these. 

The flowers look carved, but are actually made in molds. I think you'll agree that they are beautiful in their own right.
